Rebellious Prince Andrew refuses King Charles’s order to leave the royal box

Sources say the only reason why Charles has not evicted Andrew is the King’s current concerns over his battle with cancer and the health of son William’s wife, Kate, who is also believed to be struggling with the deadly disease.

Meanwhile, Andrew, 64, has lived with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson in the palatial three-storey home in the grounds of Windsor Castle for years.

Sources say that since signing a 75-year lease in 2003 that requires him to maintain the property, the prince has poured millions into renovations and recently spent $25,000 painting the exterior. But Charles, 75, is paying for the lodge’s security, housekeepers, gardeners and home improvements, estimated at millions, which he could soon cancel.
