Richard Simmons slams Barbra Streisand for asking Melissa McCarthy about using Ozempic
Richard didn’t hold back his thoughts on Barbra’s comments.

The singer apologized for her comment.
As we reported earlier this weekend, McCarthy Posted a photo of himself with director Adam Shankman. In the photo, the actress wore a green dress and looked thinner.
Streisand wrote under the photo: “Give him my regards, did you take Ozempic?”

The entertainer asked McCarthy if she was using Ozempic.

Many McCarthy fans attacked the singer for leaving the comment under the actress’s public photo. “Omg…this comment from Barbra Streisand. Yes it’s real but she deleted it,” said one fan.
Another said: “Omg someone please teach Barbra Streisand how to DM.”

“BARBRA JOAN STREISAND! This should have been a private text,” one shocked fan wrote.
“It’s like when you upload a nice picture and your aunt is like ‘Aunt Lucy passed away, call me’ wtf!! No barbs, you can’t ask this lmaao,” one second joked. “Big boomer aunt with wine and an iPad energy,” said another.

Streisand quickly apologized for the comments. She released a statement about the situation: “I went on Instagram to look at the pictures we had posted of the beautiful flowers I had received for my birthday. Below that was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy, who I sang with on my Encore album. She looked fantastic! I just wanted to compliment her, I forgot the world is reading along!”

The apology didn’t satisfy Simmons.
On Facebook he wrote: “I love Melissa McCarthy… I’ve seen all her movies. A famous legendary singer, BS, made a comment about her weight loss… and asked if she had used a popular weight loss shot. What a question .”
He added: “I apologize to Melissa for these comments. And by the way, Melissa, you look fantastic!’
For her part, McCarthy was asked about the Instagram comment while in LA this week. She said she loved Streisand and had no ill feelings toward her.
