Spelivia wedding in Daniel Ezra’s latest episode

Spelivia fans, rejoice! Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) and Olivia (Samantha Logan) tied the knot during the Season 6 finale of “All American,” which aired on July 15, marking Ezra’s final episode as a series regular.

The episode, titled “I Do (Part II),” picked up where the penultimate left off: Spencer discovered that the wedding venue was flooded and his wedding to Olivia would not take place. Initially, Olivia began to spiral, questioning not only their future but their past as well, remembering the many hiccups along the way. (The CW has always loved a montage!)

Spencer, now an NFL player based in New York, was unable to postpone training camp but refused to wait another year to get married. So he spent the day secretly planning a wedding in the backyard of his parents’ home, “where it all started,” he told her. The community then planned a surprise reception, completely transforming the town’s basketball court into the perfect dance floor and dinner venue. It’s a good thing the newlyweds had a fully choreographed dance routine planned for their first dance.

Elsewhere in the finale, Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Layla (Greta Onieogou) finally found a home – the one of his youth. After Laura (Monet Mazur) heard they were looking for a house, she realized that since everyone had moved out, hers was now just a house. So she transferred the deed to their names. Meanwhile, Coop (Bre-Z) found out she was attending not one, but two law schools, including Yale. Even though she felt like she didn’t deserve it, Spencer had one last heart-to-heart with her — on the swings at Crenshaw, of course — to convince her she was worth it.

Although the episode was Ezra’s last, ‘All American’ has been renewed for a seventh season, so it was only fitting to throw in one cliffhanger. During the wedding, Jordan approached his grandfather, GW (Brent Jennings), about a baby photo he found of a mysterious person who watched like his father. GW didn’t want to talk about it, but after some convincing, he finally revealed that Billy (Taye Diggs) had a brother.

Although Spencer and Olivia are moving to New York and Ezra will not return, no announcement has been made about Browning’s future on the drama.
