The body of a missing Milliken man found in Weld County Lake

One person died Tuesday from an apparent accidental drowning at Ehrlich Lake in Weld County, according to Milliken police.

Police received a call Tuesday about a missing 39-year-old Milliken man seen at the lake. The department reports this in a press release.

Officers found the missing man’s belongings near the lakeshore, and divers from several Weld County fire departments found the man’s body in the lake at 1 p.m.

Police are investigating the man’s death as an accidental drowning and do not believe foul play was involved, Milliken officials said Tuesday.

The man’s name will be released by the Weld County Coroner’s Office.
