Although Scherzinger was reunited with other Pussycat Dolls members Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica SuttaAnd Kimberly Wyatt in 2019, their planned world tour was postponed due to the pandemic and later canceled entirely.

The founder of the group, Robin Antinsued Scherzinger for breach of contract during the canceled tour, with Scherzinger denying the allegations and filing his own lawsuit against Antin.

“It was complete shock, disappointment and heartbreak for me,” Scherzinger said of the lawsuit. “But I’m not a victim; I’m a victor. And I stuck to my guns. I knew where I stood, and that’s why I responded with eight counterclaims. But you know, I’m hopeful for the future. I’m very hopeful. “
