The Hillary Clinton-produced play "Suffs" is struggling to fill seats on Broadway

The play features an all-female and non-binary cast, including notable names like Tony winner Nikki M Jamesdelves into the triumphs and setbacks of the ongoing fight for gender equality.

Clinton herself, one of the co-producers of Suffs, expressed her deep connection with the play’s story, saying: the associated press“I see it as relevant today. We have many challenges in our country.”

“I know how important it is to have relationships with the people you work for, because you are taking risks and doing things that have never been done before,” she explained. “Whether in my case it’s running for president or marching on Washington in 1913 to try to convince the president and Congress to pass the amendment to let women vote.”

Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece Meena Harrisis another producer of the three-hour play.
