The resident takes No. 2 as Nielsen expands his options

Beginning with the March 25-31 viewing period, Nielsen has expanded its streaming measurement capabilities, allowing the company to now report viewership of a number of titles that were previously unavailable. According to Nielsen, a combination of previous business agreements and technical measurement aspects prevented several acquired series from being included in the weekly rankings, and while most of those titles wouldn’t have made the Top 10 anyway, some are debuting for the first time thanks to more accurate analysis.

One of those titles is “The Resident,” which debuted on the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 during this viewing window in second place with 1.5 billion minutes watched on both Netflix and Hulu.
