The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy will be released next month. Netflix has unveiled the show’s final trailer, which promises spectacular clashes, puzzles and plot twists.
Adapted from the comic book by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy has become one of the most critically acclaimed superhero series. The first season of the story of super-powered siblings trying to work together despite differences was one of Netflix’s most-watched shows of 2019.

The final season appears on Netflix on Thursday, August 8, 2024. It will consist of 6 episodes.
The Umbrella Academy season 4 plot
The short synopsis for season 4 reads:
Six years after the reset, the powerless Hargreeves clan is confronted by a secret society and discovers that they may be the greatest threat to the universe.
The most crucial plot of season 4 will be an alternate timeline in which the siblings are stripped of their superpowers. To make matters worse, new enemies emerge and the Hargreeves must figure out how to defeat them while unraveling the mystery of this alternate universe.
In Season 4, we will see the consequences of the universe reset that the Hargreeves performed at the end of Season 3. One of the most surprising things to appear in the new episodes is the return of Umbrella Ben, which was teased during a mid-time episode. credit scene in season 3.
But he’s not the only one returning from the dead. Everything indicates that we will also see Abigail, Reginald’s wife, who died many years ago. It will be quite a challenge to explain these mysteries (and a few others too), so let’s hope the creators have everything planned well.

That has also been confirmed Colm Feore will return in season 4 as Reginald Hargreeves.
Also joining the cast are Nick Offerman And Megan Mullally, who will play the characters of Drs. Gene and Jean Thibedeau. Here’s a description of who they are (via Entertainment Weekly):
