This armored truck hides an ASUS ROG gaming setup inside

ASUS Republic of Gamers has partnered with YouTube content creators Hacksmith Industries to build a ridiculously cool ROG gaming setup inside an armored truck. On the outside it may look like a standard armored truck. What could it carry? Millions of dollars in federal reserve money? Maybe. What about a large shipment of uncut diamonds? It is very possible. There’s certainly a chance it’s transporting priceless art or antiques. But none of these things are on the inside.

No, inside is a hidden mobile gaming station decked out in ROG gear. Gaming chairs, monitors, laptops, you name it. It is a mobile gaming station that can withstand the elements while keeping you cool and calm inside while enjoying your favorite video games. Of course we say you, but we don’t really mean you. Or someone who isn’t part of Hacksmith Industries. Because this isn’t a truck you can buy. It was a project that Hacksmith conceived and decided to implement. However, that doesn’t make it any less cool.

The ASUS ROG armored truck is a mobile command station for Hacksmith Industries

Officially it seems to be called the ASUS ROG x Hacksmith Mobile Command Center. A £15,000 behemoth that Hacksmith can take to events. The truck has apparently been a dream of Hacksmith’s for years, and when ASUS heard about the project, it decided to partner with Hacksmith on the project.

In turn, ASUS has provided all the gaming equipment complete with RGB lighting, so the inside not only stays lit, but looks cool and stays on theme. Hacksmith then took all that stuff and mounted it to the inside of the back of the truck. Now the group is ready to game in style anywhere.

The gaming setup that’s safe from gunfire

When you think about the gaming setup of your dreams, I might not think about the possibility of getting shot at. Well, that’s what you’d get with this mobile command center. The truck has a weight of 5,000 kg. of armor and includes armored tires and a fully reinforced cabin that can withstand gunfire and explosives. So if you find yourself in the middle of a gunfight while gaming on the go, you need to be safe. Or rather, you could be if you were on the inside. Interestingly, far less equipment is secured inside for in-transit gameplay than you might expect.

Basically, you probably couldn’t play games properly while the truck was moving because it seemed to be quite a bumpy ride. That being said, it is ideally suited as a mobile gaming station that can play stationary games at events. That was the intended goal from the beginning.
