This limited edition Starforge PC is every Old School RuneScape fan's dream

Starforge Systems is one of the best custom, pre-built PC companies out there and that’s in no small part thanks to limited releases like this Old School RuneScape PC just announced.

If you’re at all familiar with Starforge Systems, you probably know that it makes tons of custom gaming PC builds. Do you remember the Dunkin’ PC from earlier this year? That was Starforge Systems. These custom rigs are usually available in a very limited supply. That said, these are mostly spruced up commands tailored to what Starforge normally offers. So you can still get a PC like this without all that extra spice if you miss or just don’t like the RuneScape theme.

As for this machine in particular, it’s packed with all kinds of performance capabilities. Not to mention special little details. This limited edition PC pays tribute to the RuneScape days of yore and comes with everything a fan could want. Such as custom details around the entire case. Even on parts of the tempered glass panels and the ventilation opening on the other side.

The Starforge RuneScape PC comes with a limited bundle

As mentioned, these are quite limited editions, so there won’t be many available. At least not compared to the number of normal Starfroge PCs you can buy, like the Voyager or Navigator. Also worth mentioning is that you can also build all the other PCs that Starforge offers and customize them with this case. So you don’t have to buy this limited edition RuneScape model. There is also precedent for doing this. Since the RuneScape model comes with specific hardware, you may want something more powerful. As for the cost of the RuneScape model, it comes to $2,150.

In terms of specifications, it is powerful enough to handle any game. This includes an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU and an AMD Radeon 7800XT GPU. With those components, you can expect a reasonable average of 184 frames per second in games like Modern Warfare III. As well as an average of 145 frames per second in Forza Horizon 5 when playing in 1080p. Performance will obviously drop a bit if you increase the graphics to 1440p or 4K. But even at 4K, you can still watch an average of a crispy 80 frames per second in Modern Warfare III. Not bad.

The PC further comes with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. As for the limited bundle, from now until July 21st, Starforge is offering a bundle when you purchase this PC, which comes with all five custom RuneScape platelights. The bundle also includes a 12-month membership to Old School RuneScape. If you’re not familiar with the Platelights, these are acrylic plates that you can slap on the front of the PC to give it some extra style.

Both the housing and the Platelights are available separately

If you already have a Starforge gaming PC and just want to spruce it up a bit, you can optionally pick up the case and/or the Platelights separately. The housing itself costs $400 and the Platelights cost $40 each. There’s also a case bundle that comes with the 12-month Old School RuneScape membership for $500. And on top of that, it’s possible to add these things to the Voyager and Navigator PCs for $200 each.
