Thomas Pratt arrested on suspicion of kidnapping victim at gunpoint in Highlands Ranch
A man has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a person at gunpoint in Highlands Ranch on Friday evening. according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Thomas Pratt, 42, was arrested Sunday on charges of first-degree kidnapping, first-degree menacing, first-degree trespassing and parole violation, officials said.
The kidnapping took place just before 7 p.m. on Friday evening. The victim was threatened with a gun and forced to drive from the 9200 block of South Broadway in Highlands Ranch to East Chenango Avenue and South Broadway in Englewood, according to a report from Friday. The victim was not injured.
“Make no mistake: If you prey on Douglas County residents, we will find you and hold you accountable,” said Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly.
