Trump is melting down because he is being threatened with jail time

Trump melts down over being threatened with jail.

Trump melted outside the courtroom as he was threatened with prison if he violated the gag order again.

Trump said:

And it’s a shame. And then there’s something that’s perhaps even more shameful: the gag order. Where I actually can’t do that, I have to pay attention to every word people say. You ask me a question, a simple question, I would like to ask it, but I can’t talk about it. Because this judge gave me a gag order and said if you violate it, you’ll go to jail.

And honestly, you know what, our Constitution is way more important than prison. It’s not even close. I will make that sacrifice every day. But what is happening here is an embarrassment to the appellate courts that are going to get involved.

Trump is terrified of being locked up, but he tries to play the tough martyr. Trump’s constitutional rights are not being violated. His freedom of expression is not restricted. Trump has a very limited number of issues that he cannot talk about that are directly related to the ongoing trial, but no one has taken away his right to freedom of speech.

Donald Trump doesn’t want to go to jail. If he had, he could have stood in front of that microphone and violated the silence order.

The fact that he has chosen not to do so suggests that Trump does not care about the Constitution. The ex-president is trying to keep his sagging presidential campaign afloat.
