Two dead in early morning shooting in Colorado Springs

A murder investigation is underway in Colorado Springs Friday morning after police found two dead.

Officers responded around 5 a.m. Friday to reports of a shooting in the 3100 block of Lange Terrace. according to a statement from the Colorado Springs Police Department about Xformerly known as Twitter.

When officers arrived, they found two dead at the scene, police said. The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.

“All parties believed to be involved are being considered at this time,” the department said.
