In a statement to the court, Ariana explained how shocked she was when she found the explicit video on Tom’s phone and clarified that she had not distributed it to others.

“While other women waited to use the restroom, I opened the photo app on Mr. Sandoval’s phone and was shocked to find a video of a FaceTime call between Mr. Sandoval and [Raquel] which showed Mr. Sandoval’s face in the top corner, while the main image was the masturbating prosecutor. I hurriedly grabbed my own phone and made two recordings of the FaceTime video,” Ariana said in an affidavit filed with the court.

“Before that moment, I considered Raquel a friend and was unaware that she and Mr. Sandoval were having an affair,” she continued. “I did not send the videos to anyone else.
