WhatsApp: Contact notes and favorites management updates
A new beta version of the popular messenger WhatsApp has been released with version number 2.24.7.19, which adds new features to the messenger. This means you can add a message to a specific contact.
WABetaInfo has noticed that WhatsApp is developing a new feature for the messenger that will allow users to add a specific note to contacts.
The new box, known simply as ‘contact notes’, is currently in development and will be available in a future update to WhatsApp Web and in the WhatsApp beta for Android.
This free text box allows you, or companies, to create a personal note to help you remember someone. For example, you can add where you met someone or a mutual friend so you can quickly refresh your memory about who you’re talking to.

Management of new favorites
In the WhatsApp beta for Android with build number 2.24.7.18, the developer had already integrated a favorites function for the “Calls” section in the messenger to improve the process of prioritizing and opening important contacts and groups directly from the tab – a phone call with the most important contacts now just a tap away.
In the latest beta update, WhatsApp expands this feature even further and adds a management function to the favorites function.
In the future, users will be able to select, organize and delete their favorite contacts and groups directly in the app settings – making it much easier. Favorites can also be fully managed without opening the “Calls” tab.
