Here is the letter Jordan sent to Bragg:

Jordan asked Bragg to testify before his committee.
Jim Jordan has no supervision over Alvin Bragg. Jordan has no choice but to ask the Manhattan district attorney to testify.
Rep. Jordan is apparently incapable of learning anything. In April 2023, Jordan held a hearing with his committee in Manhattan as part of his effort to intimidate and defame Bragg. The Manhattan district attorney humiliated him.
Alvin Bragg will never testify. Jim Jordan has no supervisory authority or legal recourse to compel Bragg to testify. Jordan’s letter was an embarrassing stunt so the Ohio congressman can hold a mock hearing in June and claim Bragg wouldn’t show up to testify.
Since Donald Trump has not been convicted, even if Bragg wanted to testify, he could not because the Trump case is still an ongoing legal matter.
Jordan is trying to abuse his power as chairman of the Judiciary Committee to help Trump with his appeal. One thing Jordan certainly won’t do is invite Donald Trump to testify under oath, because Jordan is trying to get involved in a criminal case for political gain.
