Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, whose wife was involved in the Trump plot to overturn the 2020, minimized the 1/6 insurrection during SCOTUS arguments.
The Supreme Court heard arguments related to the federal law on obstructing an official proceeding used to charge 350 Trump insurrectionists.
Judge Clarence Thomas went a step further and downplayed the riot:
In his oral argument today, Judge Thomas minimizes the severity of the 1/6 insurrection at the Capitol. Maybe that’s because his wife was part of the conspiracy. What a shame he’s in this business. #SCOTUS

Judge Thomas just suggested that J6 is legally no different from any other violent attempt to disrupt official proceedings https://t.co/QGuqWA7GZw

Judge Thomas should not hear this case. He should be rejected because he has a clear conflict of interest. Judge Thomas’s wife, Ginni, was involved in the plot to overturn the election. Ginni Thomas pressured election officials in states like Arizona to overturn the results.
Every time Clarence Thomas violates basic ethical standards, the credibility crisis at the Supreme Court grows.
