Bragg’s response can be summarized as his belief in transparency and openness to working with the committee, but there is no chance that the prosecutor will say anything about Trump’s case before the ex-president is convicted and the appeal process runs.
Bragg knew what Jim Jordan was trying to do. Chairman Jordan clearly tried to interfere in the Trump case to influence the ex-president’s conviction. DA Bragg had no intention of playing that game and is fully aware that Jordan has no supervisory authority or power over Bragg
All Jordan can do is ask Bragg to appear to testify. If Jim Jordan tried to force Bragg to testify in any way, the Ohio Republican would lose in court.
Alvin Bragg can tell Jim Jordan to hit the dirt, or he can gently suggest he hit Jordan when he has time, and Jordan can do absolutely nothing about it except go on Fox News and Newsmax and complain.
Jordan’s latest attempt to help Trump has failed.
