Using the right words at the right time may fail, but where the reassuring flow of words fails, good fashion can speak loudly and serve a therapeutic purpose. Unlike words, you can train yourself to always hit and never miss. If you like chic styling (don’t we all?), this feature took it up a notch in the past week. Celebrities who understand the art of individualistic styling took control and won. Events like the Fashion Trust US awards brought in people like Kelly Rowland And Janelle Monae to the shore of elite dressing.
The tailored suits were an admirable choice with interesting colors, steering clear of the neutral tones. The trains on a few dresses were a voluminous release of dopamine, while exaggerated fabrics did their number on the carpet. The exciting display of high fashion may sound like a weekly affair, but it is in no way predictable.
The looks
Kelly Rowland graced the Fashion Trust US awards carpet in a tasteful Harbison Studio number. The dress was a beautiful mix of a neatly tailored body with exaggerated sleeves, and the train had all the elegance needed to navigate the evening’s fashion theme.
Zendaya continued her press tour of the film The Challengers, with a serial off-white attack. Spotted in Monte Carlo, the star girl looked like a 90s blonde girl who emerged from wealth in a relaxed atmosphere. The relaxed Brunello Cucinelli sweatshirt paired perfectly with the lightweight skirt and nude pumps she paired with it. Whether it’s a simple coordination or a fashionable ensemble, Zendaya will always win.
Elsewhere, Janelle Monae And Keke Palmer took their suit game for a color upgrade. Janelle Monáe wore a red Sergio Hudson suit to the Fashion Trust US awards and stunned in palazzo pants and a white shirt with bow tie details. Keke, on the other hand, wore a lilac Michael Kors offering to a Fallon Tonight event in LA. Both suits may differ in cut, but the splashes of color were a welcome injection of fun into our timelines.
