Halle Bailey and DDG are sparking rumors after welcoming their first child
Halle Bailey and rapper boyfriend DDG are the subject of swirling split rumors after fans noticed several telltale signs of a rift on social media, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The speculation went into overdrive on Tuesday after it was discovered that Bailey and her boyfriend (real name: Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Additionally, the duo appears to have deleted most of their photos as a couple from their respective accounts, adding to the speculation following her solo outing last weekend.
The Little Mermaid actress enjoyed Coachella sans DDG and took to Instagram to cheer on her sister, Chloe after taking the stage for an electric performance.
“Had the best time last night at #chlochella!!!” she gushed with a crying and heart emoji in support. “Words can’t describe how proud I am of my sister.”
DDJ and Halle welcomed their first child, a son named Halo, in December. “I wouldn’t choose anyone else in the world to have a child with. We learn from it. She’s a great mother. Like it’s crazy. She’s great,” he said proudly a few weeks ago.
The couple became Instagram official in March 2022, but are known to be low-key about their relationship.
Notably, Halle never confirmed that she was expecting a baby during her pregnancy.
More recently, DDG addressed the texting scandal that rocked the couple last year following leaked messages between himself and his ex Rubi Roos raised eyebrows. At the time, Rose shared a screenshot of him asking about her plans.
“Getty ready hbu. U hit me the day y’all fight that’s so lol,” she texted, to which he replied, “lol alright let me heal first.” Rose noted that this type of behavior is why she was single.
In response to the ordeal, DDG admitted his pettiness and said the exchange was taken out of context. “I feel like people thought I was secretly like ‘oooh what are you doing’ type s— and then they posted it,” he clarified. VladTV.

He added: “It was like a short argument that went all the way to the left. And eventually we got over that hump.”
