Illegal immigrant from Turkey shocks reporter as he describes how easy it was to cross border (VIDEO) | The Gateway expert

FOX News’ Bill Melugin has been reporting from the border for months. This week he had a conversation with an illegal immigrant from Turkey that was truly shocking.

The man explains how easy it was for him to cross the border and then says that the Americans are right to be concerned about this problem.

He points out that any crazy and potentially dangerous person can easily enter the United States.

The illegals seem more concerned about the lack of security at the border than many of our elected officials.

Red state has the transcription:

MELUGIN: Did you have to pay a cartel?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT: Yes

MELUGIN: How much?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT: $10,000

MELUGIN: $10,000?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT: Yes…In fact, the American people are right, very true. Who enters this country? They don’t know. Okay, I’m good, but what if they’re not good? What if they are murderers, psychopaths or something else? No guarantee for that. No security, no security checks, no background checks

MELUGIN: No security, no background, you’re worried about who’s crossing the border?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT: Yes, yes. Of course, because (unintelligible) people are not like normal.

Bonchie from RedState comments:

Think about how insane that exchange is. A man from Turkey paid $10,000 to be trafficked across the U.S. southern border by a cartel, and even he said, “Yeah, maybe you guys should do something about this.” He says there was no security check or background check. Instead, the guy was essentially waved through and probably handed some form of notice to appear that will never be honored. That is, in fact, Joe Biden’s immigration policy.

It’s amazing that it takes an illegal alien who has just crossed the border to raise the alarm.
