Fox News host Greg Gutfeld tore into the governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem after a last-minute interview cancellation, with a scathing comedic rant, complete with a fake interview at Noem’s expense, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Gutman began Tuesday’s segment of the show by telling his audience that this weekend, “I did something I rarely do. I read a guest book for a segment we had planned. It’s called No return by Kristi Noem.”

Host Greg Gutfeld conducted a mock interview with political commentator Dana Perino, jokingly answering questions as Noem.

“Who knew the title referred to this show?” the TV personality joked. He further said that the governor – who has been embroiled in controversy after revealing that once killed her puppy in a leaked excerpt from her memoir – ‘guilt[d] the weather” for her absence.

During one of Gutfeld’s mentions of Noem on Tuesday, he mockingly referred to her as “the author — sorry, I mean the person whose name is in the book.”

Continuing his mock interview, he told Noem’s proxy, Perino, “I noticed you didn’t seem to know what was in the book, yet you recorded the audio for the book.” Have you ever read the book?’
