Kristi Noem’s ‘Stupid Book’ Roasted By Fox’s Greg Gutfeld After Governor Cancels Appearance
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem was the subject of a scathing comedic rant on Fox News after she reportedly canceled an interview at the last minute.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld tore into the governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem after a last-minute interview cancellation, with a scathing comedic rant, complete with a fake interview at Noem’s expense, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Gutman began Tuesday’s segment of the show by telling his audience that this weekend, “I did something I rarely do. I read a guest book for a segment we had planned. It’s called No return by Kristi Noem.”

Host Greg Gutfeld conducted a mock interview with political commentator Dana Perino, jokingly answering questions as Noem.
“Who knew the title referred to this show?” the TV personality joked. He further said that the governor – who has been embroiled in controversy after revealing that once killed her puppy in a leaked excerpt from her memoir – ‘guilt[d] the weather” for her absence.
“I don’t believe it,” Gutfeld admitted. He then made a series of dog-themed puns, saying, “I think it’s a little late to keep her on a leash.” I hope she reconsiders, but I’m not going to sit up and beg.’ Anyway, every dog has its day, it’s just not May 7, 2024.”

Kristi Noem said a story about a 2014 meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un “should not have been in the book.”

The host continued his roast, stating that he wasn’t going to let the no-show “waste my time, so we’re moving on with the interview.”
“In Kristi Noem’s place is someone she wishes she had listened to before writing that stupid book. Dana PerinoGutfeld announced as he introduced the Fox political commentator and former White House press secretary George W Bush.
“So Dana, aka Governor Noem, you wrote the book yourself?” he jokingly asked Perino.

“You know, that’s a great question for someone who wrote the book, and I don’t think I’m going to dignify your question with an answer when there are so many other important issues in the world, like animal cruelty,” Gutfeld’s fake guest responded. , which was met with much laughter from the host and audience.
As a sequel to outrage from left and right About the puppy killing story, Noem raised skepticism when another story from the book surfaced in which she remembered an encounter North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in 2014. When asked about the validity of her claim to NewsNationNoem admitted: “This anecdote should not have been in the book, and as soon as it was brought to my attention I made sure it was changed.”

Her response sparked further backlash as experts claimed the governor appeared unaware of the book’s contents despite being featured in social media posts narrating the audiobook.
The South Dakota Searchlight mused that perhaps Noem “relied so heavily on a ghostwriter that she didn’t read her own book before it went to the printer.”
During one of Gutfeld’s mentions of Noem on Tuesday, he mockingly referred to her as “the author — sorry, I mean the person whose name is in the book.”

Continuing his mock interview, he told Noem’s proxy, Perino, “I noticed you didn’t seem to know what was in the book, yet you recorded the audio for the book.” Have you ever read the book?’
“I said some words that were written about me, and they were in a certain order of, they call them sentences, and so I read them out loud,” Perino joked in response. “I don’t know if that means I’ve read the book, though.”
No return was released on May 7.

“Could you blame the ghostwriter, the editor, the publisher – there’s a lot of controversy here? Was it their fault?’ Gutfeld asked.
“Well, a little known fact,” Perino replied, joking that “another dog of mine, his name was Ghostwriter.” And I killed him this morning.”
