Loki's Sophia Di Martino in Possible Season 3 Thor Crossover

Ask the stars of Disney+’s “Loki” if there will be a third season and they’ll all insist they don’t know.

“Honestly, I have no idea,” Sophia Di Martino, who plays Sylvie, told me Saturday morning during a “Loki” FYC Emmy screening and Q&A at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

That doesn’t mean Martino wants her time at Marvel to end. “I’m open to more,” she says. “But honestly, I think the [Season 2] The finale was great and if that’s what it is, I’m very grateful for what we had. But they don’t say anything. The veil of secrecy extends to us too.”

Di Martino says she would like to share some screen time with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) one day. “I think it would be great to see Sylvie and Thor,” she said. “I think it would be fun to see them get excited, especially if Loki is in the equation. Three siblings together? The dynamics would be interesting.”

As for Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston told me at the Hulu on Disney+ launch event on April 5 that he’s fine if a third season doesn’t get the green light. “There had been times when I really thought this was the end and I was wrong,” he said. “But if this is the end, I’m so proud of where we ended up.”

Hiddleston now turns his attention to ‘The Night Manager’. BBC and Prime Video announced last week that the hit John le Carré series will be revived for two more seasons following the season finale premiere, which saw Hiddleston return as Jonathan Pine. Season 1 of “The Night Manager,” which premiered in 2016, won two Emmys and three Golden Globes, including best actor for Hiddleston.

“It took a while,” Hiddleston said of “The Night Manager.” “We had to get the story right.”

Actually, the cameras should start rolling any day now, because Hiddleston says filming is keeping him from attending this year’s Met Gala next month. “The exciting thing is that Jonathan Pine has been living in the real world for the last eight or nine years, and a lot has happened in the real world,” Hiddleston said. “And where we find him and his reaction to where we are now, I think will be very interesting.”
