NBA Star Christian Wood’s Ex-GF Accuses Him of Threatening Her to Silence After Alleged Abuse: ‘Lakers Run This Town’

Yasmine says Christian made false statements in his request for a restraining order.
As we first reported last month, Christian was granted a permanent restraining order against Yasmine after she failed to appear at the hearing. In his petition, the NBA star accused his ex of showing up at his house and vandalizing his car. He claimed that she damaged his property several times during their relationship.
Additionally, the judge ruled that Christian would receive primary custody, while Yasmine would only allow supervised visitation.

Christian was granted a permanent restraining order last month.

Now, in her recent motion, said Yasmijn she did not show up for the hearing because she had not been properly informed.
“I was never heard or properly noticed for the ex parte or final hearing for petitioner’s request for a domestic violence restraining order,” she said. Yasmine accused her ex of using an old email address and a home address where she no longer lived to claim he was trying to serve her.
Yasmine claimed: “Christian has a history of abuse and gaslighting to keep me.” She said they had been sexually active until May 2, 2024, after Christian, “unbeknownst to me, filed his” restraining order and obtained “warrants under false claims.”

The model said Christian called and texted her repeatedly and came to her house to visit her after he was granted a temporary restraining order in February.
Yasmine denied that she abused Christian during the relationship. She pointed out that she is 6 feet tall and weighs 120 pounds. while he is 6’8 and weighs 215 pounds.

She said Christian’s statement filed with the court is filled with “malicious fabrications, such as his claim that I vandalized his vehicle.” She said: “The car in the photos does not belong to Christian. Christian drives a black Cadillac Escalade. I have never destroyed one of Christian’s vehicles.”
She added: ‘He misrepresented the facts to this Court in order to obtain a restraining order without notifying me so that I could give my testimony and evidence to the Court and defend myself against his claims. His actions were clearly intended to give him a strategic advantage in obtaining custody of our son, as a means, I believe, to avoid or minimize child support payments.”

Yasmine said Christian brutally attacked her on May 2, 2024 – while their son was present. She claimed he grabbed her legs and dragged her to the front door in anger.
She said since the incident: “Christian has only focused on how my reporting on the attack could affect his career, not on how I was hurt and tormented by this attack and not on the devastating impact on our son.”
She said he texted her the next day saying “lol u gon for my career it’s up,” referring to my domestic violence report to the police. He then threatened me during his repeated calls to my correct phone number, demanding that I not file anything with the court and that if I did, I would ‘never see my son again’ because he has full custody, his lawyer ‘tight is’. with the judge,” and the “Lakers run this city.”

Christian asked the court to deny Yasmine’s recent request.

Yasmine said: ‘I have been living in fear about what will happen to our son and what Christian will do to me next.’
She said Christian “has a history of being violent and angry. During our relationship he yelled and screamed at me, called me horrible names and repeatedly violently pushed, shoved and hit me.”
Yasmine asked the court to revoke the restraining order granted to Christian and to grant her sole custody of her son. She said she would file for her own restraining order this month.
In response, Christian’s attorneys argued, “The court entered orders based not only on the allegations of domestic violence, but also on the significant evidence that Defendant alienated the child and endangered the child. That evidence is completely unrefuted.”
A judge has yet to rule on Yasmine’s motion.
