Following the news of the new super bundle from Disney and Warner, comes another entertainment package with several services to choose from, all for a reduced price.
Comcast has confirmed that it will launch the new StreamSaver bundle on May 29, which comes with Netflix Standard with Ads, Peacock Premium (ad-supported), and Apple TV+.
The new bundle costs only $15 per month. For reference, here are the current prices of these three plans if you paid for all of them separately:
- Netflix Standard with ads: $6.99 per month
- Apple TV+: $9.99 per month
- Peacock Premium: $5.99 per month (increasing to $7.99 per month in July)
Together the services cost $22.97 per month, so you can save over $7 per month, essentially getting one service for free.
It won’t be available to everyone, though: you’ll need to be signed up for an Xfinity broadband, TV, or mobile package to take advantage of it. That also means it’s exclusive to the US for now.
Comcast said in a press release that users who already subscribe to one of these streaming services should still be able to take advantage.
Users can also add a Now TV to the subscription, bringing the total to $30 per month. This provides access to apps such as AMC, A&E, Hallmark, History Channel, Lifetime and WEtv.
This appears to be a direct competitor to the Disney+, Hulu and Max bundle confirmed earlier this month – reaffirming that we’re slowly moving back to a more traditional cable TV model after years of streaming wars.
The StreamSaver bundle would allow customers to watch Baby Reindeer, Ted Lasso, The Traitors US, Stranger Things, Severance and Poker Face all under a single bill.
