‘RHONY’ star Sai De Silva catches newcomer Rebecca Minkoff

What do you say? The Real Housewives of New York star Sai DeSilva made her feelings about the newcomer Rebecca Minkoff known in a shockingly hot mic moment that’s almost as wild as Lisa Barlow‘s flub, RadarOnline.com has learned.
As this outlet reported, the famous fashion designer and proud Scientologist joined the cast of season 15 of the revamped franchise. While sources confirmed Minkoff’s participation last month, RadarOnline.com was told only that only time would tell if she were a ‘housewife’ or ‘friend’ – but Sai’s reaction means Rebecca won’t live to see another season.

Rebecca Minkoff has started filming with the ‘RHONY’ cast for season 15.
The Brooklyn-based influencer, 43, appeared on the Jeff Lewis has problems podcast on Wednesday and quickly learned what not to do when you’re in front of a microphone. Sai was asked how Minkoff was doing with the ladies during the commercial break of the Spotify episode, and she didn’t hesitate to address her new co-star.

“We are filming now,” Sai revealed, adding that she believed the fashion icon was “fun” but “boring” and didn’t make much of a difference.
“She’s nice. She’s really nice, but like not – it’s a bit boring, to be honest,” the RHONY the star joked when she thought the podcast’s microphones were dead.

Unfortunately for Sai, she didn’t stop there and continued to talk Minkoff down.
“She’s too nice for show,” she continued. When someone suggested that Minkoff would be “taken down” by the ladies this season, Sai responded, “I think people are trying to take her down, but she’s not responding.”

At that point, someone from behind the scenes of the podcast stepped in to remind everyone, “We’re being recorded guys, so don’t say anything you don’t want to…”
Sai’s posture changed, as if she was surprised that the microphones were picking up what she was saying.
RadarOnline.com has reached out to Bravo, Minkoff and Sai for comment.

The ladies could cause trouble with Minkoff as she is a lifelong Scientologist at deep ties with the church and the controversial members like incarcerated rapist Danny Masterson.
The new RHONY The star’s friendship with the now-imprisoned Masterson dates back to 2004, with Minkoff still involved Pictures with the That 70’s show star on her Facebook page from an event for her fashion label in 2015.

Minkoff and her family are Scientologists and have deep ties to the church.

Minkoff was too involved in a kidnapping case involving a former church member Valerie Haney last year, who sued Scientology, accusing the organization of holding her against her will while she worked as part of the Sea Org near Hemet, California, so it would be crazy to think the religious group won’t be a hot topic in the upcoming one RHONY season.
