Ryan Gosling recreates 'SNL' skit at 'The Fall Guy' premiere

Ryan Gosling And Saturday evening live star Mikey Day keep the Beavis and Butthead go a little.

The two walked The autumn man red carpet on Tuesday, April 30, wearing the same costumes — and full prosthetics — from a now-viral SNL sketch in which Gosling, 43, and Day, 44, were dressed as lookalikes of the iconic cartoon characters.

Videos from Tuesday’s red carpet showed the actors standing awkwardly on the red carpet while staying in character. Both Gosling and Day kept a straight face as the cameras snapped photos of them. Finally, Gosling gestured to Day and the duo continued walking. The stars looked confused the entire time they were on the carpet, causing them to stick out the distance SNL sketch from last month.

Gosling eventually removed the prosthetics and donned a mint green suit for a second walk down The autumn man Red carpet. The film, also starring Emily Bluntwill be released in theaters on Friday, May 3. While Gosling looked great after his outfit change, the Beavis and Butthead moment was still central throughout the evening.

Gosling and Day’s Sketch “Beavis and Butt-Head”. immediately became a highlight during SNL‘s April 13 episode, especially after that Heidi Gardner broke character during the live show. Gosling and Day played spectators during a NewsNation livestream event focused on AI Kenan Thompson was in character as a technology magnate. While Gardner, 40, acting as the show’s host, asked him questions, Thompson, 45, was constantly distracted by Gosling and Day looking like Beavis and Butt-Head.

When she turned to look at her costar, Gardner couldn’t help but start giggling, which also made Gosling laugh for the rest of the sketch.

After the now iconic ‘Beavis and Butt-Head’ sketch, Gosling continued to laugh throughout his SNL performance. Another notable moment was the “Doctor” sketch with Bowen Yang, in which the duo – both wearing long wigs – have to inform a family that their loved one didn’t make it.

I think the ‘Beavis and Butt-Head’ sketch was in front of us, and that was kind of a preparation for that,” Yang, 33, said We weekly only last month. ‘We didn’t see the wig until the day of. We just told the hair department: Jodi Mancuso, she’s a genius. My doctor look was predetermined from the Nate Bargatze episode. So we were like, let’s do something for him that’s blonde, but also kind of similar, asymmetrical, crazy, whatever. And they had so much fun with it. He blew on the pony during [the] walked through it, and it made everyone laugh.

Garner broke again during that draft.

‘Heidi, I’m going to pick her again. I think she just giggled all week and lost it,” Yang continued. “But it was so much fun.”
