Sacha Baron Cohen looked defeated during his first outing since breaking up with his wife Isla Visser and being accused of workplace harassment by Rebel Wilson, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
The comedy couple confirmed rumors about their divorce last week in a strangely tennis-themed Instagram statement.
“After a long tennis match of more than twenty years, we are finally putting down our rackets,” says the Borat actor, 52, wrote on Friday, May 5. “In 2023, we jointly filed an application to end our marriage.”

Cohen announced the news via Instagram last week in a strangely tennis-themed post.
The comedian wasn’t smiling as he strolled around New York City wearing a fedora and thick-rimmed glasses in photos shared by Daily email Thursday. The outlet noted that Fisher, 48, was spotted in London earlier this week without her wedding ring.
The couple was married for 14 years and have three children together.

“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children,” they wrote in the announcement.

The Pitch Perfect actress wrote in her memoirs: Rebels in revolt, that Cohen told her to take off her clothes while they filmed scenes, and threatened her when she discussed it in the book.
“Every day he says, ‘Rebel, can you just get naked in this scene?’ And I’m like, ‘No!’” she claimed on the Kyle and Jackie O radio program from 2014.
“Sacha and I have the same agent in America and I’m like, ‘Sacha, I’m going to call our agent, Sharon, and tell her how much you’re bothering me,'” she added.

“He has hired a PR crisis manager and lawyers,” she said ahead of the book’s publication. ‘He’s trying to prevent the press from talking about my book. But the book WILL appear, and you will all know the truth.”
Cohen quickly denied Wilson’s allegations. A representative for the British actor said: “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after production from ‘Grimsby.’”
Despite his rebuttal, an insider said The sun that Fisher “began to feel ashamed” of the claims.

A source close to the couple said Wilson’s claims were a “catalyst” for Fisher’s decision to end her marriage to Cohen.

“She has her own career and reputation to worry about,” the source said. The Australian Wedding Crashers actress “felt like it was the right thing to do to let everyone know about their decision,” the insider added.
However, Cohen “didn’t want that,” the source revealed. “He acted like it was business as usual before they made this announcement.”

The “decision was not made lightly,” a separate source noted, adding that the two “remain incredibly close.”
The exes’ inner circle said they learned the marriage was ending last year, but Cohen and Fisher “went to great lengths” to keep things private “for the sake of their family.”
The couple met at a party in Sydney, Australia in 2001. They got engaged in 2004 and married in 2010 in Paris, France.
