The accident follows Fetterman’s recent interview Real-time with Bill Maherin which he opened his rapid policy change after his stroke in 2022. The comedian asked the senator whether his “near-death” experience had contributed to him abandoning some of his most progressive positions.

“Absolute,” Fetterman said. ‘There’s a line from the first Batman, Joker says, “I’ve been dead once. It’s very liberating.”

“It’s liberating in a way. And I think after beating all that, I just really [want to] I can say the things that I really need to believe in and not be afraid of if there is any kind of backlash.”
