Stephen Colbert destroys Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito

Stephen Colbert made the key point that Alito claims that the Supreme Court justices are neutral, but Alito cannot be neutral if he supports insurrectionists.

Colbert said:

Alito, you’ll recall, got into hot water when people found out that after January 6, he was displaying a symbol of the Stop the Steal movement by flying an upside-down American flag outside his home. Alito took the high road and blamed it on his wife. Controversy over. And started again. Because we have now learned that a second flag, carried by the January 6 rioters, was displayed outside another home owned by Judge Alito. That’s right, a second flag at a second house. Alito’s second wife better keep an eye on her.

Speaker Mike Johnson also hung the flag outside his office. When asked about it, he said, “It’s George Washington’s flag. It has nothing to do with stopping the stealing.” Yes it does! When an almost forgotten symbol is brought back and widely adopted, you can no longer use it in the old way. If a man named Brandon says, “Actually, this swastika above my bed refers to the ancient Sanskrit symbol for good luck,” he’s a Nazi, Cheryl! Get out of there! I don’t care if his haircut is fresh. Moreover, Mike Johnson is a political figure. It’s one thing if he wants to raise the team flag. Sam Alito keeps saying that everyone on the Supreme Court is completely impartial and non-political! I mean, there’s nothing wrong with Aaron Judge wearing a Yankees Jersey, but it’s different when the referee does it! Balls and strikes, right? Balls and strokes.

Colbert was right. Alito is one of the conservative majority judges who continues to tell the American people that the Supreme Court is neutral. All the while, Alito is waving flags in support of Trump’s overthrow of the US government.

A justice cannot be neutral if they fly a flag in support of the destruction of democracy in their homes.

Judge Alito is such a problem that he has now entered the pop culture landscape via late night talk shows, and it is never a good sign for the Supreme Court when their corruption has reached the late night talk shows.
