Things Turn Ugly at USC as Pro-Hamas Protesters Face Campus Police – Infiltrating Outside Forces to Spark Riot (VIDEO) | The Gateway expert

Violent pro-Hamas protests broke out at universities across the US on Wednesday after Columbia University was closed and forced online due to pro-Palestinian riots.

Chaos broke out on the University of Southern California (USC) campus on Wednesday when pro-Hamas protesters attempted to set up an encampment.

According to ABC 7, outside forces infiltrated to spark the riot at USC.

Campus police used their batons to push back the pro-Hamas demonstrators.

According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, USC said it is closing its campus gates and denying entry to unauthorized visitors after many of the pro-Hamas protesters appear to have no ties to USC.

CBS News reported:

A pro-Palestinian protest at the University of Southern California Alumni Park that began Wednesday morning grew in size and intensity by the afternoon after campus police confronted the crowd and ordered the dismantling of the encampment.

Tensions rose after officers forced demonstrators to take down their tents and one demonstrator was arrested.

The encampment was erected in the park on Wednesday morning, similar to other pro-Palestinian encampments that have been part of other college campuses across the country.

The group has drawn up a list of demands, including the divestment of universities from all organizations that “profit from Israeli apartheid, genocide and occupation in Palestine.”

Officials from the Campus Department of Public Safety visited the encampment, instructed students not to hang signs, flags or other materials from trees and poles in the park, and warned them not to use bullhorns.
