Trump attorney Alina Habba went on Fox News and claimed the jury could convict Trump because they watched MSNBC and CNN during Memorial Day.

Habba said on Fox’s Sunday Morning Futures:
The counter argument to this is that these are not segregated jurors, they should have been segregated because in my opinion these jurors are dealing with something that is completely unprecedented and unwarranted in America and they can go out on a holiday weekend. with friends and families who have an opinion and who watch the news TVs in the background during the pool party. I have serious concerns that if they are left-wing and watch MSDNC as my client calls it, or CNN, they will not get fair news. But by the way, they’ve said this case is a hoax, which is shocking, but they know the jurors are listening and I’m worried about that time.

Habba’s reasoning sounds like she was laying the groundwork on Fox News for a possible apology if Trump is convicted. How popular would Trump have been with the jury if he had called for them to be locked up over Memorial Day weekend? Jurors are already not supposed to discuss the case with anyone or follow news about the case.
It has seemed for weeks that Trump has been trying to send messages to the jury with his comments every day outside the courthouse.
The idea that a long courtroom break will benefit Trump and the jury is almost as nonsensical as the idea that a jury will ignore all the evidence and rely on what they see on television instead of the hours and weeks spent they spent in court. .
Trump supporters’ public comments in the media, and what they say in conservative media, suggest they are preparing to convict the ex-president.
