Watch Jerry Seinfeld's Amazing Commencement Speech at Duke University Where Stupid Student Protesters Walked Out (VIDEO) | The Gateway expert

As the Gateway Pundit reported this weekend, some student protesters at Duke University walked out during Jerry Seinfeld’s speech.

Boy, they missed it.

Seinfeld’s speech was great. It was hardly political, except when he invoked progressive ideas as privilege.

He mainly focused on how to be successful and happy in life, emphasizing the need for a good sense of humor.

Here’s one partial transcription:

Thank you. Oh my God, what a beautiful day. What a beautiful class. We love you.

I am here today at the kind invitation of President Price and the Duke Board of Trustees. Because after spending four years at what is considered one of the best institutions of higher learning in the world, they apparently feel that some light entertainment might just bring you all to your ultimate realization. You know, I think I’ve really had enough of this place. Let’s bring in a comedian.

Let’s take the sophistication and erudition of the Duke experience down a few notches. And I thought: maybe that makes sense. Maybe the thinking was: what we really want is to get these kids out of here. What would give them that final push?

Because what you may not be fully aware of is that the entire time you were at this wonderful university, we met and talked to other kids who we would like to replace you with. Not because we weren’t happy with you. Not at all. You’ve been great. It’s just, you know, we want you to see what’s out there. I don’t want to say exactly how many children we spoke to. There are about that many. And we met a lot of great kids.

Was there a time when we were glad you came here to learn, grow and prosper? Of course there was… those days are over. We offer graduate programs in a number of different disciplines. If you and your parents want to postpone your ultimate uselessness for a few more years.

Watch the whole thing below, this is a great speech:

Years from now, some of those student protesters will look back with regret that they missed this.
