Trump gets angry when asked if he will finally spend money on his presidential campaign.

A former producer for The Apprentice has confirmed there were tapes of Trump making racist and sexist comments on the NBC show.

Bill Pruitt, former producer of The Apprentice, wrote in Slate:

Without a doubt, the most difficult decisions we faced in post-production were how to edit segments involving Trump. We wanted him to sound sharp, dignified and clear on what he was going for, not like he was shouting at people. You see him today: when he reads from a teleprompter, he seems loud and stoic. Go to one of his meetings and he’s the spontaneous rambler who whips his followers into frenzy. During filming he struggled to convey even the most basic things. But as he became more comfortable filming, Trump made raw comments that he found funny or amusing — some of which were both misogynistic and racist. We have deleted those comments. Go to one of his meetings today and you can hear a lot.

….

So we got ripped off. We have been scammed. No one heard the racist and misogynistic comments or saw the alleged cheating, the bluffing or their hair blowing in the wind. I have come to believe that those tapes will never be found.

As we now know, Trump’s image has been a lie. Donald Trump was a fraud created by reality TV. He’s not rich, smart or even good at television. There’s a reason why Trump is increasingly glued to his teleprompter. His interviews and spontaneous meetings have disappeared. When Trump releases a video on social media, it is heavily shot and edited.

Trump has gotten older, and the trends that the former producer of The Apprentice described have only become more dominant in his presentation.

Donald Trump cannot form coherent thoughts. The ex-president still considers himself a great salesman and communicator, but he never was.

Trump has always been a con man. Millions of people still believe in the con man, and since the con man is for sale, special interest groups and hostile foreign governments are lining up to give him money in hopes of buying control of American policy.

Yes, there have long been rumors about Apprentice tapes of Trump making racist and sexist comments, but the former president was more successful at hiding his reality TV evidence than he was at criminally covering up the Stormy Daniels affair.

The message here is that nothing has changed. Donald Trump has always been a dangerous con artist, and it would be foolish for voters to expect anything different in 2024.
