Jill Scott faced backlash for supporting Chris Brown.

Jill Scott does not hesitate to praise Chris Brown, RadarOnline.com has learned. The 52-year-old singer received heat after she threw her support in Brown’s direction and gushed over the artist’s diss track, aimed at Quavo.

Brown attracted attention when he fell Weakest linkblasting the Migos rapper by saying everyone wished Quavo was killed instead To take off.

Scott applauded the Grammy winner for his rapping skills, tweet, “@chrisbrown is amazing. How can ANYONE sing like that? Dancing, watching, acting and rapping… like that?” during the weekend.

She immediately received negative attention for her praise, with many suggesting that she should not support Brown for his violent lyrics due to his controversial past, including assault. Rihanna.

The two rappers have been feuding since Quavo dated Chris Brown’s ex in 2017.

When Scott started responding to the negativity on Xthe whole thing snowballed in her face.

“I don’t think the women he abused would agree,” one wrote, to which she replied with her personal story about her former stepfather’s alleged violent past.

‘I doubt it. My mother’s ex-husband was a mean, violent person AND he could lay a foundation better than anyone in my town. What he did with cement was awe-inspiring. We got away. He received a raise and praise for his ability. God took care of the rest,” she wrote.

When another follower told her, “I love you Jill, but he has so many cases of domestic violence it’s ridiculous that we can’t look past that,” she didn’t hold back.

“I love you too,” she said. “I’m not here to fight other people’s battles anymore. When women hear the stories, they should avoid that street. Running backwards in traffic makes no sense. Therapy for every damn body.”

Ultimately, Scott stopped responding to every message and sent a general statement stating her position.

“Look. Years of prayer, therapy, self-reflection and every attempt to keep my feet on the ground have made me compassionate towards other people. People go on and do terrible things. We say we believe in God; pray for relief. We ARE a living testimony,” she wrote on X.

Scott followed this up with, “And I warn those who refuse to forgive because they will undoubtedly need forgiveness at some point in their lives. We all have flaws and need help. Power to people who leave violence behind. The past is terrible. memory AND the future is ours.”

She also revealed that she believes Brown went too low with the Quavo death diss. “I agree,” Scott replied to a fan who said the lyrics were “too personal.”

As for Quavo, he has not yet responded to Brown’s insults. RadarOnline.com told you – Takeoff was shot dead at a bowling alley in Texas in November 2022. Quavo, who was his uncle, was there for the fatal incident when bullets hit his Migos bandmate in the head and torso.

The suspect, Patrick Xavier Clark has maintained his innocence. Takeoff was only 28 years old.
