At a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio, former President Donald Trump spoke Saturday about China building cars in Mexico and the high tariffs he would impose on those cars if re-elected.

He also said it would be a “bloodbath” for the US auto industry if Joe Biden were re-elected instead. That knowledge is an important part of putting Trump’s words into context.

So what did the mainstream media do? To create headlines that did not provide the proper context, making it seem instead as if Trump was advocating or warning of violence.

Check out these headlines in this post along with a video of what Trump is doing Actually said in context:

What Trump actually said

Trump said Saturday in Dayton, Ohio: “China is now building some huge factories where they’re going to build the cars in Mexico and they think, they think, they’re going to sell those cars to the United States without any money.” tax at the border.”

“Let me tell you something about China, if you listen to President Xi and you and I are friends, but he understands the way I interact,” he continued. “Those big monstrous car factories that you’re building now in Mexico and you think you’re going to get that, you’re not going to hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars to us? No. We’re going to impose a 100% tariff on every car that comes across the border, and you won’t be able to sell those cars.”

He’s clearly talking about protecting American auto workers.

Trump continued, “If I get elected. If I don’t get elected, it will be a bloodbath for the whole country – that’s the least of it. It will be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least.”

To clarify the context, Trump’s next sentence was again about the auto industry.

“But they’re not going to sell those cars,” Trump added. ‘They build huge factories. A friend of mine only builds car factories. it is the largest in the world. I mean, honestly, I joke about it. He can’t walk down the street and he’s like Biden in that respect, but for building a factory he can make the biggest plants in the world, right? That’s all he cares about.”

“I said, I’d like to see one of your plants the other day,” he continued. “I said I’d like to see where we can go?” Well, we have to travel to Mexico. I said why Mexico? He said, because that’s where the big factories are built. China is building very large factories in Mexico and Mexico’s building. How about here? Well, we’re building a lot of smaller factories here.”

“Can you believe it? Can you believe it?” Trump is done.

The media’s attempt to turn Trump’s massacre comment into some kind of warning or call for violence did not go unnoticed.

Once again, people were aware of this attempted deception.

Why does the mainstream media so deliberately mislead their audiences?

Because they are state media and communications arms for the Democratic party, who see their role in defeating Donald Trump in November.

And they wonder why traditional media is dying while independent journalism is thriving.

And why their boss Joe Biden may no longer be president next January.
