Biden at the G-7 talks to a parachute jumper.

The RNC edited a video of President Biden to claim he was rambling during the G7, but fact-checkers have criticized MAGA for their lies.

White House adviser Andrew Bates posted the real and edited versions of the clip:

World leaders love British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak presented the facts‘They had all landed and he was very polite. And he just went over and talked to each of them individually. They all came to shake hands individually. So we were supposed to just stand in one place instead of going to say hello because everyone wanted to try and talk to the person who jumped their flag.”

The Washington Post factchecker called the clip doctored video:

The use of these clips is a particularly pernicious pair of examples of manipulated video – what we call ‘isolation’ in our guide to manipulated video – because it aims to create a false narrative that is not true. reflect the event as it occurred. The RNC and its enthusiastic followers in the conservative media deserve Four Pinocchios.

CNN called the video deceptively cropped.

The deception is the point. Republicans can’t capitalize on Trump’s strengths because their candidate comes out of the meeting compared to a drunk uncle and someone who can’t keep up a train of thought, so they have to invent an imaginary Biden through fake and deceptively edited videos.

Trump can’t beat the real Biden, so Republicans are trying to fool voters with a fake one.
